Oscar Aleman ( 1909 - 1980 )was an Argentinean jazz guitar player, entertainer and showman, born in Argentina, lived in Europe (1930s)and returned to Argentina ( 1940 - 1980 ).

Thanks to Eduardo for the great photo. As far as I am able to dig out the context, this seems to be a screen shot from the movie El ídolo del tango (1949). The scene is used in Hernán Gaffet's documentary on Alemán, too, and has great dancing by Oscar and a driving rendition of 'Improvisation sobre Boogie Woogie' by the band.
